What are the types of bicycles available?
Ans: 26" All Terrain Mountain Bike & 26" Titanium Racing Road Bike

What will I be getting together with the bicycle?
Ans: Adjustable size safety helmet will be provided.

What is the condition of the bicycle that I will be renting?
Ans: Our bicycles are catered specially for cycling event usage only, we do not do retail renting. The bicycles are in very good condition, if not, brand new condition.

How and where do I collect and return the bicycle(s)?
Ans: We will be having a booth at the event ground from 2nd – 4th March at the F1 Bike Park to facilitate collection and returning of bicycles at your convenience. Collection timing starts 1 hour before the commencement and the return cut-off time is at 4pm.

How, where and when do I make payment?
Ans: All payments will have to be made on the day of race pack collection at the F1 pit building. We will have a booth to collect cash payment to confirm the booking. *Strictly CASH payment only. Please prepare exact amount to ensure a smooth transaction.

What if I cannot be there to make payment on race pack collection day?
Ans: You can get your friend to make payment on your behalf. Alternatively, contact us for cheque payment etc.

What do I have to bring on the day of bicycle collection?
Ans: NRIC, bike tag number (issued upon payment on race pack collection day), race bib.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?
Ans: Upon completion of the reservation form, you will receive confirmation notice via email within 3 working days. Payment has to be made on race pack collection day to confirm the booking.

Do you have bicycle for kids?
Ans: Sorry, we do not have bicycle for kids at the moment and we are looking at this for future events.

What is the purpose of $10 security deposit?
Ans: Items such are safety helmets are easily misplaced or damaged due to improper handling. The cost of repair/replacement can be found under Terms and Conditions.

What happen if there is any damaged or lost to the bicycle?
Ans: Our in-house technician will ascertain the extent of damage. We understand that sometimes wear and tear parts are unavoidable hence it will be case by case basis.

• The item(s) on rental would remain, as property of S-Lite Event Resources Pte Ltd. Any cost arising from damage or lost of rental items (s) caused by negligence shall be borne by the hirer.
  
  
• The hirer is responsible for any damage(s) to the bicycle and the cost or replacement and repair of the bicycle parts will be in accordance with the following approved rate:
  
  • Lost or damaged of pedal - $8.00
  • Tyre puncture - $5.00
  • Replacement of fork - $20.00
  • Replacement of wheel - $20.00
  • Replacement of seat - $18.00
  • Loss or damaged of safety helmet $10.00
  • Replacement of brake wire - $3.50
  • Replacement of bicycle stand - $10.00
  • Replacement of LED taillight - $1.00
  
  
• While every attempt is made to ensure that all bicycles are rented out in good working condition, the hirer is advised to check this before leaving F1 Bike Park.
  
  
• The hirer is permitted to ride the bicycle along OCBC event race route only.
  
  
• Hirer is required to produce his/her Singapore Identity Card on the day of payment (race pack collection day).
  
  
• In the event of cancellation, hirer should inform S-Lite Event Resources Pte Ltd at least 3 working days prior rental date. Once payment is made on Race pack collection day, no cancellation will be entertained.
  
  
• S-Lite Event Resources Pte Ltd (the company) will not be liable for any injuries or death caused by the usage of the said equipment(s). Hirer is to ride at your own risk, to ensure and be responsible for your own safety.
  
  
• The operator reserves the right to refuse the hiring of bicycles or to extend the time of the hiring of his bicycle if, in the opinion of the operator the hirer has misused the bicycle or violated any of the conditions herein. The hirer shall not be entitled to any refund in such cases.
  
  
• Rental fees is non-refundable
